We’re Selfwork.com — a global fintech startup building an AI-powered platform that transforms how freelancers and businesses work together. Our product combines a next-generation freelance marketplace with a multi-currency wallet and seamless international payments. In August, we’re launching our MVP in the UAE, starting with a B2B payroll solution. In September, we’ll launch the marketplace.
Our mission is to eliminate boring jobs worldwide and make work something to look forward to.
We help:
- Businesses find and pay top global talent in any currency — easily, transparently, and compliantly.
- Freelancers get paid without friction and sell their services more effectively with smart matching, personalized opportunities, and built-in promotion tools — all in a less crowded space.
- Both sides cut through bureaucracy, paperwork, and inefficiencies — so they can focus on doing meaningful work.
We’re now building our Marketing & Sales team from scratch — and looking for a key player: an experienced Business Development / B2B Sales Manager who can shape our sales strategy, launch the first deals, and lay the foundation for future growth.
What you’ll be doing:
- Design and validate the full sales cycle — from first touch to repeat deals.
- Define and segment our target audience (HRDs, founders, CFOs, COOs) and create tailored value propositions for each segment.
- Shape our go-to-market approach: who to target, which channels to use, how to tailor messaging to different decision-makers, and how to communicate Selfwork’s value in a compelling way.
- Bring ideas, partnerships, or warm leads to the table from day one — whether through your network, communities, or creative outreach.
- Inbound leads from marketing will come through content — but that’s just one part of the role. What matters most is your ability to proactively enter the market, test offers, and bring in early clients through direct and alternative channels.
- Discover non-obvious ways to connect with potential clients: not just LinkedIn, but niche networks, communities, events, or personal connections.
- Actively collaborate with marketing and product teams — gather and share client feedback, iterate based on insights.
- Research competitors and market strategies, and adapt what works to fit our context.

Who you are:
- You have 3–6 years of experience in B2B sales or business development.
- You’ve launched new products in new markets and know what early traction looks like.
- You’ve worked in startups or agile teams and know how to take ownership and deliver results.
- You don’t just sell off a script — you tailor your approach to each client and find creative points of entry.
- You have a strong network: you engage with founders, C-levels, HRs, you’re part of business communities, and know how to open conversations at events or online.
- Your English is fluent (C1+), both in writing and in conversations — you’ll be handling calls, emails, and demos.
- You’ve worked across various industries and can quickly understand new products. Experience in fintech, payroll, or B2B payments is a strong plus — but not mandatory.

- We’re not chaotic — we have a clear strategy, processes, and product architecture in place. But you’ll be building sales from scratch, so we expect initiative, flexibility, and collaborative spirit.
- Our marketing team will be generating traffic and inbound leads via content — your job will be to turn those into real deals.
- You’ll be part of a close-knit international team, and your voice will shape our product, our processes, and our brand.
