CTO/Tech Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled developer team leader who can also act as a personal CTO. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Node.JS, GoLang, and other related technologies, as well as experience managing a team of developers. In addition to leading the development team, this individual will also be responsible for helping to bootstrap projects, recruit relevant people, and build processes. They will also be expected to provide analytical support for tech investment projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team of developers to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
• Define, implement, and maintain software development processes and standards.
• Participate in software development activities such as coding, testing, and documentation.
• Act as a technical expert and mentor to team members.
• Work closely with project stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Help to bootstrap projects and recruit relevant people.
• Analyze tech investment projects to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with other stakeholders, such as product managers and designers, to ensure the successful delivery of software solutions.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Node.JS, GoLang, PHP, Python and related technologies.
• At least 2 years of experience in a team leader or management role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in project management and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as React or Angular.
