RHEL Infrastructure Engineer

We are experts in planning human capacities for large multinational R&D projects, teams, and centers. 

Who are we looking for:

• This is IT Operations role (Administrator) with possible career growth to DevOps
• You will be part of a brand new data center in Prague
• Linux RHEL knowledge is a must (e.g. troubleshooting, NFS, SAN disks, ...)
• Knowledge of Solaris is a plus 
• Experience with bigger IT Centers (not a small IT Operations team) 
• No need for advanced knowledge of networking
• Awareness of VMWare would be a plus as many servers are virtualized
• Cloud Awareness - Azure, GCP; we are using just the infrastructure in the cloud, no specific apps like containers or databases 
• No major software development now (e.g. automation). just basic scripting (e.g. setting some values on dozens of servers at once)

What makes you relevant for the role? 

• At least 3 years of experience in Linux administration and Linux environment 
• Basic understanding of Good Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) knowledge
• General cloud technology knowledge, (RHEL on Azure, GCP or Google BMS)
• Working proficiency and communication skills in English 

We prefer candidates with:

• LVM (Logical Volume Management)
• Good knowledge of Red Hat Ansible, Ansible Tower, SALT, Puppet
• Familiarity with Python, Git, CI/CD (like TeamCity, Jenkins.. ), programming vendor APIs such as Red Hat Satellite API, Azure, GCP or VMware API’s
• Red Hat® Satellite
• Knowledge of Solaris Operating System
