Upper Junior Software Developer

About position

An ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in software development projects using:
Javascript/Typescript, React, Git, HTML, CSS. 
You will be developing new features and modules using React framework and helping the team to eliminate the technical debt. You will dive into backend tasks in the future as well.

Our tech stack:

- Database management systems: 
PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis;

- Front-end: 
React, GraphQL Apollo;

- Back-end: 
Node.js, Typescript, AWS, Docker, Terraform, Serverless;

- Tools: 
Git / Github.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant professional experience
• Hands-on experience with ReactJS and Typescript
• Practical experience with Git, HTML, CSS
• Ability to work in a distributed/remote team environment
• Conversational level of English

• Proactive stand-point, willingness to suggest improvements and openness to accept critics
• Attention to details
• Being keen to work with people rather than with just tickets

About usVISARIGHT has around 40 people spread over 4+ countries in different time zones. We’re a distributed team, though we have offices in Berlin & Magdeburg (DE).

We care more about the things you do rather than your set working hours. Most of us work Monday - Friday from 9 UTC to 18 UTC, and ideally, you’ll overlap at least 5 hours with that. We try to be as asynchronous as possible but still feel that we need some “synchronicity” to work well.
