About the role:
We are looking for a Data Analyst to provide business reporting, strategic and tactical insights as well as key recommendations to measure, track and optimise as we launch, iterate and scale initiatives.
We are looking for a highly analytical person who is excited to solve complex business problems by working with big data, interpreting numbers, and consulting with Product Managers, Growth team and our CEO and translating insights into real actions and solutions based on commercial objectives. This role is for someone who is self-driven, independent, and wants to drive significant impact. You must be passionate about the customer and how future technology trends will impact consumer experience.
Primary Tasks:
● Own business-critical analytical projects that involve analysing complex datasets to produce insights and models that drive strategic decisions.
● Accurately define and track the most relevant KPIs for projects.
● Develop dashboards to present insights in visually impactful ways tailored to the audience for which they are intended.
● Work closely with the Executive team to scope, develop, implement and monitor a variety of analytical projects:
- Translating data requirements into actionable deliverables and planning
- Quantifying and challenging hypotheses and assumptions of testing methodologies, stimulating healthy discussions within the team and our business partners
- Reporting and understanding of Proof of concepts and various tests
- Providing insights and recommendations for tangible actions and solutions to deliver on the commercial objectives of each project
● Develop accurate reporting and across B2B clients to inform the optimisation roadmap, measuring the value of the different initiatives, understanding the highest-value opportunities, and supporting the communication with stakeholders
● Provide analysis on ad hoc basis to find root causes, opportunities and support projects
Requirements:
● Degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, computer science or other quantitative field
● Proven analytics work experience in customer insights, experimentation, cohort analysis, retention & churn prediction, etc.
● Knowledge of statistical methods for A/B testing and predictive modelling.
● Experience with Excel, SQL and BI and data visualisation tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau)
● Highly confident in dealing with ambiguity and scoping work with keen attention to detail
● A proactive, flexible, approachable attitude with good problem-solving skills
● A critical thinker who makes actionable recommendations for testing and optimisation
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to senior managers across the business, as well as the ability to collaborate with both commercial and analytical stakeholders.
