Business Analyst

VISARIGHT is a VC-backed SaaS startup based in Germany and operating globally. Our goal is to build the leading immigration platform in Europe. This position is essential to VISARIGHT’s ongoing growth and scaling. We are looking for a proactive individual for a full-time role to work remotely.

ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL:

• Analyze, describe and visualize the current state of business processes
• Conducting surveys of business processes: collecting initial information from the business owner, interviewing process stakeholders, identifying bottlenecks
• Modelling process logic using modern notations and modelling tools
• Participation in business process change projects, digital transformation, business process re-engineering
• Formation of proposals for changes in business processes and an action plan for their implementation

From time to time you may be expected to be part of special projects as are reasonably required of your job role even where these fall outside of your own department/team.

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Knowledge of modern tools for modelling and analysis of business processes, practical experience in applying different modelling notations
• Experience documenting requirements (business requirements, functional requirements, technical requirements, user stories, etc.)
• Experience with BPMN 2.0, Miro, and preparation process of technical documentation. 
• Understanding the software development life cycle
• Ability to create technical documentation
• Ability to work under pressure
• Solid knowledge of English

HOW WE WORK:

VISARIGHT has around 40 people spread over 6+ countries in different time zones. We’re a distributed team, though we have an office in Magdeburg (DE).

We care more about the things you do rather than your set working hours. Most of us work Monday - Friday from 9 UTC to 18 UTC, and ideally, you’ll overlap at least 5 hours with that. We try to be as asynchronous as possible but still feel that we need some “synchronicity” to work well.
