Senior System Analyst

We are looking for a System Analyst to join our team. The position is available remotely or on-site in Cyprus.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements for product development, including UI requirements, API enhancements, banking backend improvements, and integrations with external providers.
• Prepare technical documentation and detailed task specifications for the development team.
• Participate in integrations with payment providers and related accounting systems.
• Contribute to analytical tasks and architectural design, and assist in investigating and resolving client issues in production.
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, product, and design teams.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a System Analyst.
• Experience working on projects involving the development of back-office applications for the banking or financial sector, particularly those related to payment processing, account management, and similar operations.
• Experience with both customer-facing and back-office banking systems, along with a solid understanding of payment processing workflows.
• Knowledge of business process modeling methodologies and tools, with the ability to clearly communicate ideas through diagrams.
• Proficiency in UML and BPMN notations.
• Ability to write SQL queries.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to meet stakeholder-defined deadlines.
• Ability to independently gather and analyze information for tasks and research, with a willingness to understand the product's regulatory and legal requirements.
• Understanding of client-server architecture principles.
• English proficiency at an Intermediate level or higher.

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Node.js and PHP.
• Experience working with Git.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
