Our portfolio consists of 10+ startups that operate in UK, USA, EU, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and have more than 600 employees in total.
Palta is not just investor, we consider ourselves as co-founders and are deeply operational and hands-on.
We intend to create a platform that would be used by the whole Palta portfolio for
- Product, marketing, monetization etc. analytics
- A/B-testing
- Paywalls, subscriptions, onboarding management
- Communication campaigns management
- etc.
This role Product Analyst is located at Palta itself and is designed to collaborate as a partner with other businesses. Palta Brain brings data platform solutions, best practices & tools, along with analytical expertise and data-driven approach to data-driven product management methodologies. We bring value based on individual startup needs as they are all at various stages.
Main focus
- Build data models and analytical frameworks for Revenue stream, which include automated dashboards, self-service analytics solutions and ad-hoc analyses
- Standardise analytical framework to Revenue and Subscription calculations across businesses
- Own the Subscriptions and Revenue data, metrics and business logic across companies
- Create, implement and maintain complex event tracking frameworks
- Perform analysis across a variety of data topics and help solve revenue challenges such as effective price modelling, and performance forecasting
- Auditing analytics in startups to maximize data quality and opportunities
- Deliver actionable insights about overall business performance, marketing efforts, product monetisation to support strategy and business development
- Collect and translate business requirements into the data language
- Design, develop and maintain dashboards in Looker
- Work closely with data engineers and other parties to work out data quality issues
- Excellent attention to detail and a clear and concise writing style
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Data/Product/Monetisation Analyst
- Data Taxonomy and Tracking Requirements experience
- Data Modeling and ETL (DBT, Airflow experience is a plus)
- Excellent SQL skills (window functions, query optimization)
- Looker experience is a plus
- Python: pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels, IPython/JupyterData Visualisation: D3.js, matplotlib, seaborn, plotly, ggplot (any of the above)
- Working experience with on-demand MPP databases (Redshift, Snowflake, Google BigQuery, etc.)
