SQL BI Developer

Gazprom Marketing & Trading (GM&T) is a subsidiary of the Gazprom Germania Group. Quartered in London, GM&T operates to provide Gazprom group with a global marketing reach, round the clock operational coverage and excellent customer service. GM&T trades energy commodities including gas, power, oil, LPG, helium, emissions, LNG and FX and also operates a retail business, trading as Gazprom Energy.

We are looking for an SQL BI Developer with strong technical background and high level of English to join our international distributed team (Integration & Reporting). The purpose of the team is to provide the business with beneficial, user focused enhancements to the middle and back office systems and delivering robust, scalable, and supportable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding business requirements and carrying out technical business analysis;
• Delivering agile software solutions using Microsoft technologies;
• Handing over all solutions to the Applications Support team, and providing 3rd line support, including out-of-hours on-call support;
• Documenting and sharing knowledge on all development.

Requirements:

• Higher education (IT, Mathematics, Engineering);
• 3+ year experience in similar roles;
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance;
• Ability to work in a VUCA environment, where priorities shift regularly;
• Upper-Intermediate level of English.

Technical knowledge and experience:

• Enterprise Developer experience on complex projects involving C#, SQL Server and the SQL BI stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS);
• ASP.NET and ASP.NET MVC;
• Microsoft TFS with Git;
• Кnowledge of Data Warehouse principles and methodologies;
• Knowledge of Design Patterns;
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ, SpecFlow will be an advantage.
