DevOps Engineer

We are searching for a DevOps engineer to join our team of functional programming developers to help us deliver better reliability and scalability. We use Haskell, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Nix, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, ElasticSearch etc.

We are looking for professionals who could fit into the team, ready to grow with the company and contribute to the business success.

Duties:

• Setting up and maintaining an infrastructure of our projects
• Incident handling and availability when something goes wrong
• Setting up and improving monitoring solutions
• Improving the CI/CD pipeline
• Voicing operating and reliability concerns to developers and managers
• Participation in the development of the infrastructure tools as user and contributor

Requirements:

• High level of personal responsibility
• Good understanding of Linux and OS in general
• Understanding of networking and TCP/IP
• Programming experience in scripted and/or compiled languages (latter preferred)
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS and similar software
• Good understanding of relational databases (we use PostgreSQL)
• Willing to build solid infrastructure and improve it further
• Written technical English

Bonus points for familiarity with:

• Terraform
• ElasticSearch
• Kafka
• Redis
• Nix
• Prometheus or similar
