Senior / Lead Frontend Engineer

* We are looking for an experienced principal engineer with a focus on front end solutions who will be responsible for the design and implementation of end-to-end features and building various UI components.

Stack

• Frontend – JS, Angular 1-2 => React
• Java backend
• Cloud technologies - AWS

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall UI design and components. Take ownership of features across the entire development lifecycle
• Provide expertise in improving existing product structure, software architecture, process function, user interface experience
• Work closely with UX designers, analytics, data scientists and developers to produce visual experienced design program
• Knowledge of the design trends and ability to formulate design concepts and strategies 
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers and engineers, training, pairing, and code reviews
• Brainstorm and recommend long-term technology solutions based on the business needs, architecture and strategic drivers

 Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in software development and architecture 
• Excellent knowledge of Javascript and modern web frameworks (Angular or React)
• Experience with SPA architecture and development principles
• Solid understanding of data-driven approach to DOM manipulation
• Good understanding of cloud methodologies, micro-services, distributed systems principles
• Experience with building and consuming REST-based web services
• Experience with Agile development, continuous delivery and DevOps

Optional Qualifications:

• Ability in creating metric and analytic dashboards, querying and visualizing time series, metrics, graphs (Alchemy etc.)
• Understanding of AWS and the building blocks within that platform
• Ability to communicate and apply common architectural design patterns
