Who We’re Looking For:

Jaxel is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer (the ratio of knowledge for the specified stack, front-end development 60 / back-end development 40) to join our growing family. You will have significant responsibilities and influence in shaping the future direction of our company. This role is inherently multi-functional and the ideal candidate will work across many fields. Successful candidates will possess strong engineering and communication skills. You will need to have a passion for quality and the ability to understand sophisticated systems. The current position sets the Software development engineer position for our client’s web project.

Responsibilities:

  1. Refactor the codebase to increase the reliability and performance of a solution.
  2. Work closely with Engineering teams.
  3. Implement integrations with backend services
  4. Write optimized code for maximum speed and scalability
  5. Ensure a sufficient level of code quality
  6. Build reusable templates, widgets, and code
  7. Troubleshoot coding issues and bugs
  8. Review code and collaborate on pull requests from your team members
  9. Participate in user stories and tasks estimation, refinement, and planning
  10. Participate in demos for stakeholders
  11. Participate in meetings/stand ups
  12. Be ready to meet with the client occasionally at late hours.

Requirements:

Must Have:

  • NodeJS
  • React
  • Redux
  • HTML
  • Jenkins and CI/CD Pipelines
  • GraphQL
  • Next.JS experience
  • AWS experience: S3, ECS
  • English B2+/C1

Recruiting process:

  1. Non-technical interview – 30 minutes introduction call.
  2. Technical interview (2 rounds) – 1-2 hours depending on the grade of the candidate. Includes an assessment of your technical skills in the context of the technology stack declared in the vacancy and the total work experience in the profession. At the interview, you may be asked to perform a technical test (live coding).
  3. Discussion of interview results
