We are looking for a Gameplay Network Engineer (Web) for our game development company

Our mission:

What are we doing?

We're creating a meta-universe for millions of players all over the world and social games on blockchain. Right now we're working on an exciting MMO shooter for PC and you can join the game right now - ​

We believe in an open economy, true digital ownership, and most importantly, that "FUN" is valuable.

Current Status:

We already have sustainable and reliable financing, and we have a clear roadmap for the next 2 years, which we're implementing step by step. Let's do it together!

What's important to us:

  • 3+ years of commercial development experience using JavaScript (mandatory) or TypeScript;
  • Expert knowledge in foundational web development (HTML, CSS);
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript;
  • Strong knowledge of Vue, React or Angular;
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs;
  • Solid experience of client/server development (networking, multiplayer, component frameworks);
  • Experience of working for WG, Gaijin, Pixonic, Pixelgun/Cubic, Mailru/Whalekit, MyTona, Saber Interactive, etc. or other studios that have made F2P shooters in Russia/CIS.
  • We need at least 1 of the following two:
  1. Good knowledge of javascript / web frontend, preferably experience in web games,
  2. experience working on basic shooter gameplay and a good understanding of shooter gameplay.

 

What would be helpful:

  • Experience in the game industry (especially with multiplayer/online games);
  • Experience with webGL, PlayCanvas, Three.js or Babylon.js;
  • Experience with game engines/networking subsystems
  • Interest in new technology;
  • Personal interest in video games, especially major free-to-play MMOs and shooters.

 

Personal Qualities:

Focus on result, optimism, determination, high work capacity, responsibility, attentiveness, diligence, punctuality and stress tolerance.

Written and oral English.

 

Responsibilities, what to do:

  • Implement new features, tools, and services to support the needs of multiple teams (engineering, art, operations) in project development.
  • Collaborate with other team members to release functionality at the highest level of quality in a timely manner.
