PR Account Manager (Remote Tashkent)

We are looking for a PR Account Manager to join an international PR agency team. This is a hands-on role combining PR execution and client/account management. You will independently manage communications projects, work directly with clients, and build media coverage across Uzbekistan and international markets.

What you’ll do

Client brief → PR strategy → media research → news hooks → content → media pitching → campaign execution → reporting
Manage your own portfolio of clients and act as their main point of contact.

• Develop PR ideas and identify relevant news opportunities.
• Prepare press releases, articles, comments and other PR materials.
• Pitch stories to media in Uzbekistan, Central Asia and international markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets.
• Coordinate special projects, influencers and external contractors.
• Track deadlines, budgets and campaign results.
• Identify new client needs and contribute to proposals and business development.

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of experience in PR, communications or PR agency work.
• Hands-on experience working with media and journalists.
• A proven portfolio of PR campaigns, media placements or communications projects.
• Good knowledge of the Uzbekistan media landscape and established professional contacts with local journalists and publications.
• Experience working directly with clients; agency experience is a strong advantage.
• Strong written Uzbek and Russian.
• English B2+, sufficient for client communication, written communication and international media work.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and propose solutions rather than wait for detailed instructions.
• Experience in technology, fintech, startups or other international businesses is a plus.
