Location: EU, Belarus, Georgia

Now we are looking for an experienced Lead DevOps Community who combines strong DevOps expertise with hands-on engineering experience and a passion for building, mentoring and growing a collaborative DevOps community across the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a responsible and high-performing Ops and DevOps function in the company
  • Ensure that all Ops and DevOps engineers are used effectively and perform strongly within their teams
  • Organize and conduct regular knowledge-sharing activities, including trainings, workshops and master classes for DevOps engineers aсross the company
  • Contribute to individual development plans and growth of community members, helping people develop their skills through mentoring and collaboration
  • Drive adoption of best practices and technologies
  • Take part in regular feedback and performance review sessions
  • Help team leaders ensure the proper workload allocation for specialists of the appropriate level in RnD department
  • Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, Ansible
  • Handle routine maintenance, upgrades, backup/recovery processes and disaster recovery planning for both cloud and on-premise environments
  • Collaboration with software engineering teams to ensure smooth deployments and high system availability

Requirements:

  • Strong people management skills and team leadership experience
  • Experience in mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning
  • Proficiency with Linux system administration
  • Strong knowledge of Terraform and Ansible
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, load balancers and DNS
  • Broad and practical understanding of security across systems, with the ability to quickly grasp how new technologies work
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer/Network Engineering or a closely related technical field

Would be nice if you have:

  • Experience in management of on-premise, hybrid environments, bare-metal or cloud infrastructure
  • Experience in managing self hosted Kubernetes
  • Ability to write new or improve/fix existing scripts written in various languages such as Python, Groovy, Ruby, Go, Bash
