Senior Systems Engineer

Who we are

"Loyal" is building crypto-native permissionless private AI.

We develop low-level distributed infrastructure that runs on bare metal, inside Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs), on confidential GPUs, and across decentralized node networks.
Our team owns the oracle layer, node runtime, attestation pipelines, GPU-TEE orchestration, and integrations with networks such as Nillion (nilDB / nilCC), Phala, and MagicBlock.

This is a hands-on engineering environment focused on reliability, cryptography-aware compute, and large-scale distributed systems.

Your responsibilities

• Design and implement distributed node software.
• Orchestrate confidential GPU workloads.
• Integrate with blind computation networks: Nillion nilDB clusters, Phala TEE workers, MagicBlock, and custom oracle runtimes.
• Build robust distributed systems coordinating thousands of heterogeneous nodes.
• Develop low-latency services, inference streaming layers, and encrypted channels.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and overall system reliability.
• Write production-grade code in Rust (primary) and TypeScript (supporting services/tooling).

Our expectations

• Strong experience as a systems/back-end engineer (7+ years preferred).
• Deep, production-level expertise in Rust (mandatory).
• Proficiency with TypeScript / Node.js for services and automation tooling.
• Proven experience with low-level development or high-performance backend systems.
• Experience building distributed systems at scale.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB or similar).
• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes (or alternatives), and VMs.
• Solid understanding of blockchain concepts and decentralized infrastructures.

Bonus points:

• Experience with NVIDIA computing, CUDA, or GPU kernel programming.
• Contributions to or usage of Nillion, Phala, MagicBlock, or similar networks.
• Experience with Solana program development (Rust + Anchor).
• Open-source contributions in systems, crypto, or security.
