Senior DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for a Senior DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer to build and operate multi-cloud production infrastructure for a high-traffic SaaS platform (MarsX, Unicorn Platform, +10 applications). Our systems process millions of requests daily, and reliability is critical.

Responsibilities

• Manage and evolve production infrastructure (AWS, Hetzner, Cloudflare).
• Own Terraform modules and Ansible playbooks.
• Operate Docker Swarm or Kubernetes clusters.
• Maintain monitoring, logs, traces, and alerts (New Relic, OpenTelemetry).
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
• Improve security, access control, automation, and cost efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in DevOps/Infrastructure
• 3+ years production Terraform and Ansible
• 2+ years Docker Swarm in production (Kubernetes is NOT a substitute)
• Strong AWS experience (EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM, NLB/GA, ASG)
• Cloudflare production experience (Workers, DNS, CDN/WAF, Zero Trust, Tunnels)
• Hetzner Cloud provisioning with Terraform
• Expert Linux (Ubuntu/Debian), networking (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS), Caddy reverse proxy
• Monitoring/observability: New Relic, OTEL Collector
• Strong Bash + ability to work with TypeScript/Python
• Experience operating PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, ClickHouse

Nice to Have

• Strong security hygiene (firewalls, secrets, SSH hardening, Zero Trust).
• Experience with cost optimization, postmortems, and RCA.
