QA automation engineer (Kotlin)

Your responsibilities

• End-to-end tests (Kotlin) for the UI and API that connect the UI to all systems.
• Analyze:
  • The priority of quality criteria and understand what needs to be covered at the end-to-end level.
  • How the system described in the acceptance criteria works under the hood.
• Focus on a proper distribution of tests across the test pyramid.

Our expectations

• Minimum 7 years of QA experience in product teams.
• At least 5 recent years as a test automation engineer (Java / Kotlin / Groovy / Scala).
• Experience in:
  • UI, API, and database testing.
  • Developing test automation solutions and internal frameworks.
• Improving testing effectiveness, building test plans, and monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of system components, interfaces, network protocols.
• Understanding of BDD and TDD approaches.
• Understanding of basic system metrics and load testing.
• Critical thinking, curiosity, proactivity, and self-learning.
• Ownership attitude with a proactive approach to quality assurance.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote and multicultural environment.
• BS degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
• Located in Europe.
