Site Reliability Engineer (LATAM, FinTech, Startup)
Агентство / HR ресурс NEWHR ( new.hr )
Опыт работы от 3 до 5 лет
About the Company:
A FinTech startup, based in Mexico, on a mission to transform the digital banking landscape in LATAM. The company has recently closed a major investment round.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join a fast-growing Infrastructure Team that supports analytics operations across multiple regions in Latin America. The team is responsible for deploying, scaling, and maintaining infrastructure and analytical tools across several company products.
You’ll play a key role in stabilizing infrastructure, resolving incidents, and deploying services to new regions — helping analysts focus on insights while maintaining high service availability.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain and update core analytics tools and services — Superset, Tableau, and DataHub.
- Support Snowflake-based analytics infrastructure — ensure data marts remain stable, up-to-date, and accessible.
- Monitor the availability and stability of analytical services — quickly and efficiently respond to incidents during working hours.
- Collaborate across multiple LATAM regions — participate in the deployment and maintenance of data infrastructure.
- Take part in on-call rotations.
- Act as the first point of contact for analysts — gather feedback, support tools, troubleshoot issues, and assist with infrastructure-related challenges.
Tech Stack: Python/Bash, containerization tools (Kubernetes, Docker), relational DBs (MySQL, PostgreSQL), open-source infrastructure tools.
What You Have:
- Experience as an SRE in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), and open-source infrastructure tools.
- Basic scripting in Python (preferred) or Bash.
- A startup mindset — you are a self-starter, you can see the big picture beyond your specific task, and you can work with minimal managerial supervision.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills — you can analyze incidents and propose clear, structured solutions, and you aren’t afraid of ambiguity.
- Good level of spoken English (B1+). Knowledge of Russian or Spanish is a plus.
- Willingness to take part in on-call rotations within Mexican/Colombian working hours.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary in EUR.
- Fully remote work from LATAM time zones (flexible hours).
- Location: LATAM countries (relocation package to Mexico) OR willingness to adjust to Mexican/Colombian working hours.
- Company-provided equipment.
- Personal development plan compensation (training and language learning).
- Healthcare and wellness budget.
- 20 days of paid vacation, including flexible national holidays.
- 10 days of paid sick leave.
