SAP ABAP Developer

The IT company Andersen invites an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to work on a large-scale project in the field of Retail.

The customer is a leading company in Greece and the Balkans, specializing in the provision of quality consumer durable goods. The company's commercial activities span Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Romania. It is committed to responsible business practices and has been an official member of the UN Global Compact since 2008.

The project is to support ongoing operations, contribute to process optimization, and actively participate in the customer's digital transformation journey.

Responsibilities:

• - Developing and maintaining ABAP software according to technical and business requirements.
• - Creating and optimizing software objects such as ALV reports, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits and Enhancement Spots.
• - Working with ABAP Objects and ABAP Data Dictionary to develop and maintain functional solutions.
• - Integrating and customizing key SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD) within projects and tasks.
• - Applying object-oriented programming (OOP) and dynamic programming principles to create effective solutions.
• - Participating in project teams working under Agile/Scrum methodologies, including planning sprints, completing tasks, and participating in meetings.
• - Supporting and troubleshooting problems in existing SAP systems and applications.
• - Communicating with customers, maintaining technical documentation in English. 

Must-haves: 

• - Experience in ABAP development for 3+ years. 
• - Experience with ABAP Objects, ABAP Data Dictionary, ALV Reporting, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Spots.
• - Knowledge of key SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, MM, SD).
• - Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and dynamic programming principles.
• - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• - Level of English – from Intermediate and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• - Understanding and experience with Web Dynpro and Fiori.
• - Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA.
• - Experience with SAP Web IDE and Eclipse.
• - Experience in using SAP Solution Manager.
