The Role
As a Senior Rust Developer at Sagesse Inc., you'll play a vital role in shaping our backends services. Your expertise will guide the timely delivery of high-quality software while ensuring strong collaboration across stakeholders.
This role demands a deep understanding of Rust's strengths as you design and implement robust solutions.  You'll focus on developing performant RESTful APIs, crafting efficient data ingestion algorithms, and building containerized applications.  Your contributions will directly impact the optimization and scaling of our systems as we continue to innovate in this space.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop highly performant RESTful APIs using Rust frameworks like Actix-Web.
• Create and optimize data ingestion algorithms and procedures to streamline data processing.
• Build and deploy containerized applications in Kubernetes environments, promoting scalability and resilience.
• Prioritize code optimization for exceptional performance, reliability, and maintainability, ensuring a superior user experience.
• Engage in technical discussions and architecture design, influencing the direction of our systems.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in developing production-grade Rust applications.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming concepts in Rust.
• Proficiency with Rust's libraries and frameworks.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities for effective teamwork.
