The project is in the field of Real Estate.

Responsibilities:

• - Building scalable, global, complex systems to solve problems with high-quality software.
• - Developing and implementing quality controls and standards to ensure trust in the data.
• - Developing re-usable API Suites for consumption across Business Units.
• - Processing Data with the most performant & efficient practices to transform data into insights.
• - Experimenting with new technologies to improve the platform.
• - Maintaining proper just enough documentation to ensure continuity.
• - Working effectively with others in a team to achieve shared goals.
• - Explaining the data from a business perspective, communicating clearly and effectively to cross-functional business partners of varying technical levels.
• - Being willing to learn and adapt.

Must-haves:

• - Experience as a Data Engineer for 2+ years.
• - BA in Computer Science or IT background.
• - Ability to write high performance and quality code in Python or Other equivalent languages like Node, Java, Go, Scala with ability to adopt.
• - Knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals such as object-oriented design, algorithm design, data structures, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
• - Proficient in SQL.
• - Good understanding about different types of storages/databases and purpose of each.
• - Self-motivated, fast learner, detail-oriented, team player with a sense of humor.
• - Have a passion for the craft and a strong desire to grow as professional
• - Effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
• - Adept at handling ambiguous or undefined problems as well as ability to think abstractly.
• - Level of English – from Intermediate and above.

Nice-to-have:

• - Exposure with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational / Non-relational databases.
• - Exposure with data workflow management tools Airflow, Google DataFlow.
• - Exposure to various SDLC frameworks such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Vault.
• - Exposure on various cloud-based solutions such as Google Cloud Platform, Qubole, Segment, Tableau, Workato.
• -Good understanding on Real Time data ingestion concepts and approaches.
• - Experience with cloud environments such as AWS and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
