Managing director ( Uganda)

Taitan FZCO is a leading company engaged in the development of infrastructure projects, as well as the implementation of innovative IT solutions for Governments around the world. Taitan FZCO has extensive experience in implementing projects in different countries: Uganda, Kenya, Russia, Azerbaijan and others. We are currently conducting transformational projects in Kenya, Uganda aiming at digitalizing the tax system and introducing a safe-smart city.

Now we are looking for a Managing director to our division in Uganda

What we expect from you:

- Successful relevant experience of at least 2 years as an Operations Director;

- Availability of higher education, additional training in management;

- Excellent knowledge of the field of activity or a related field, full understanding of the specifics of the business and IT project menagement;

- Experience in building a management system from scratch;

- Ability to successfully negotiate, high level of energy;

- Analytical mindset, consistency, structure, time management skills;

- Experience in forming and training a team (from 20 people), developing a motivation system(KPI)

Tasks:

- Construction of an operational and strategic management system;

- Planning activities together with the owners of the company in the short and medium term, in accordance with the development strategy;

- Taking part in negotiations at the state level;

- Optimization and description of the company’s business processes, implementation of digital solutions;

- Operational management in current and crisis situations;

- Monitoring the execution of current tasks;

- Monitoring the work of departments carrying out operational activities, synchronizing their work;

- Meeting deadlines for operational tasks;

- Formation of new programs and work standards;

- Introduction of additional programs for systematization and simplification of processes;

- Development of reporting and other key indicators of departments to improve operational efficiency and bring the company to the competitiveness of the services provided.

- Knowledge of English is the main requirement.(C1)

Conditions:

-relocation to Uganda ( shift work: 6 months for the first time then 5/1)
