About the role
We are looking to hire an experienced result-oriented Business analyst for our Product team The primary focus will be on stakeholder engagement, task management and backlog maintenance, sprint planning and performance team monitoring. It helps to Product team to enhance the product.
A good candidate is hard-working, dedicated, and comfortable working in a cross-functional team of m-shaped professionals.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Requirement Gathering: Actively engage with stakeholders, transforming their needs into actionable tasks. Ensure that these tasks are clearly documented and communicated back for validation and approval.
- Task Management & Backlog Maintenance: Clearly define and set tasks for the development team and design. Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Sprint Planning & Execution: Organize and lead sprint planning sessions. Oversee task execution, ensuring tasks are progressing as planned, and adapt as necessary based on arising challenges or changes in priorities.
- Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement: Regularly review sprint efficiency. Identify areas for improvement, collaborate with developers, and adjust strategies to enhance productivity.
- Bug Reporting & Resolution: Manage the bug reporting process, ensuring timely identification, logging, and prioritization. Facilitate effective communication between the development team and stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Start up experience: at least 2 years in fast pace SaaS international start ups.
- At least 2 years of experience as a business/systems analyst.
- UI/UX design and optimization experience.
- Understanding the principles of application testing.
- Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
- Proactiveness & Communication Skills: Must be adept at initiating and maintaining open communication with stakeholders, design, and development teams.
- Task Management & Prioritization: Demonstrated experience in task definition, backlog management, and the ability to prioritize tasks based on business needs and project goals.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with tools like Jira for tracking progress and managing tasks.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to assess sprint performances and identify areas for improvement.
- Problem-solving & Adaptability: Aptitude to adapt strategies based on challenges faced during task execution and to find solutions to bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
- Must have a computer, headphones, and a stable internet connection for effective communication.
