The Evolwe Research team is working on new innovative robotic solutions closely together with development and product teams. You have the opportunity to take responsibility in the creation process end to end from innovation ideas to products. You will join a growing international team that works in an agile and self-empowered way to deliver software modules and robot prototypes. In your research, you will focus on industrial use-cases in the area of virtual agents, but there are also touch points with consumer robotics and industrial manipulation.

• research on multi-agent path finding (MAPF)

🔲 Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and innovative Senior ML Engineer to join our deep-tech AI company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, or electrical engineering, with a focus on architectures of neural networks, and natural language processing.

🔲 Responsibilities:

1. Develop and design new AI architectures for software modules and update existing virtual agent product.
2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including neuroscientists, computational neuroscientists, NLP engineers, and software developers, to define architectural requirements and optimize AI solutions.
3. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI technology, including emerging algorithms, architectures, and tools.
4. Lead the implementation and integration of AI architectures into hardware and software platforms, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and performance.
5. Collaborate with the software development team to implement AI algorithms and models, ensuring high-quality code and system reliability.
6. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering their technical growth and development.
7. Present architectural designs, research findings, and progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, and external partners.
8. Contribute to the intellectual property of the company, including patents, research papers, and technical reports.

🔲 Requirements:

1. BA, Master's or Ph.D. degree in Neuroscience, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Strong background and expertise in AI architectures, neural networks, or NLP.
3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, MATLAB, and experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
4. Solid understanding of modern deep learning techniques, including Transformers, BERT, GPT, etc.
5. Experience in developing and implementing AI architectures, neural networks, and deep learning techniques.
6. Team-oriented with proactive working style. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
7. Track record of publishing research in peer-reviewed journals or conference proceedings is a plus.

🔲 Preferred Qualifications:

• excellent knowledge in at least one of the following fields: embodied AI, multi modality, behavior planning
• knowledge of ML/DL methods for such planning is a plus
• hands-on experience in developing mobile robots or related autonomous systems is a plus
• profound software development and programming skills in C++ and Python
• experience with Linux and ROS is a plus
