PitchMe is a London-based HR Tech startup building b2b solutions focused on reengineering the recruitment life cycle and solving the biggest challenges in talent acquisition. Our product applies a data-driven approach to candidate profiling to build the most complete, real-time and dynamic profile of each candidate. About the role

We are scaling fast and are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Backend Engineer who will support our Sales team in achieving ambitious goals. You will be the primary product and technical expert throughout the sales cycle, with a focus on articulating the value of PitchMe in the context of each client’s needs. By working side by side with customers you will solve unique problems across a variety of use cases. What you'll do

• Collaborate with the Sales team and provide pre-sales technical support for the clients to win deals and drive sales to completion
• Collect and evaluate technical requirements of new sales opportunities and present technical solutions to meet the needs of prospective and existing clients
• Manage and own all technical aspects of the sales cycle
• Troubleshoot performance and scalability issues in product and infrastructure
• Build new product features as well as support and improve existing microservices
• Ensure customers have the proper assistance and technical support to derive maximum benefit from the product

Requirements

• 1,5+ years of commercial experience in product software development with Python
• Upper-Intermediate level of English (or higher)
• Ability and openness to learn, fail, reflect and apply learnings moving forward
• Curiosity and strong collaboration skills
• Accountability and sense of ownership

Nice-to-haves

• QA Automation experience with Python
• Experience with Flask-Admin
• Experience with Celery
