We're looking for

We are looking for a developer who is willing to take responsibility. You will be developing an app for motorists for Arab markets. Work remotely in a team with talented guys you can learn from. We build the best insurance products and are waiting for you.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and implement an Android application as well as continue production of new versions of the application
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Skills

• Significant experience with all aspects of native mobile application development on Android (Kotlin/Java)
• Has used several tools from the Android Jetpack Suite
• Have published at least one original Android app
• Experience with Jetpack Compose in production
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• English level B1 or higher
• At least 2 years of work experience in a similar position

Terms

• Service agreement and work remotely
• Payment in US dollars monthly
• Full-time 5/2 and Arabic work week Sunday-Thursday
• Vacation policy: Qatar Holiday Calendar, 28 days of vacation and 10 sick-day-offs
• Compensation for the purchase of courses and tools
• Performance review providing twice a year: March and September
