Business and Sales Development sits at the forefront of Bumerang’s strategy and success. We are looking for seasoned hunters who want to join our Commercial team and help us grow a dynamic startup into a successful profitable business. You are persistent in getting the job done. You possess a passion, curiosity, and energy for the Food industry and embrace technology and its role in this industry. You thrive in client-facing situations and enjoy the thrill of turning a client’s frustration into a great experience. You are persistently and pro-actively trying new approaches, turning mistakes or failures into a learning opportunity. You are comfortable with working autonomously and know when to ask for support. You are ready to get your teeth into this exciting project and take ownership over your pipeline, clients acquisition and onboarding and your performance results.

What you will do

  • Proactively seek and identify business opportunities and potential clients in the restaurant industry in Austria 
  • Engage with prospects via fieldwork, cold calling, emailing and messaging to hit the sales targets
  • Develop deep knowledge of the Bumerang product and service offering
  • Set up and perform discovery calls and meetings with prospective clients to provide demo of our product, negotiate offers and win the client
  • Manage and own the sales pipeline, analyse performance and take necessary actions for sales acceleration
  • Achieve your performance goals and contribute to revenue forecasting accuracy and business development strategy
  • Prepare customer-specific presentations and onboarding workshops
  • Lookout for prospects and customers feedback and share this knowledge with the product team, participate in translating it into valuable customisation or further development of our product
  • Stay up-to-date with Food Tech & restaurant industry trends and developments to identify new opportunities

We are looking for

  • Proven track record of finding, approaching, pitching and contracting clients
  • Experience with technology product and demonstrable sales or business development success (ideally in the restaurant / Food industry)
  • Pro in cold calling and field work
  • Ability to effectively communicate and quickly build rapport over the phone, email or face to face
  • Presentable and confident in face-to-face meetings
  • Ability to empathise and adopt the perspective of others,  flexibility to changes
  • Fluency in both English and German
