About the role

The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional, with experience in closing deals at scale. A well-organised individual who has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers. A strong and energised field sales professional who will drive the signing up of new partners to join Bumerang SaaS platform and to manage the onboarding process. You will be responsible for your own accounts and therefore should be comfortable with working autonomously (while having the support needed). As time progresses and more partners are onboarded, the targets and duties of the role may develop - in the first instance, we’re looking for someone who wants to get their teeth into this exciting project!

What you will do

  • Identify business opportunities and potential clients in the restaurant industry and engage with them through fieldwork and active outbound sales to th hit the sales targets
  • Prospect, engage and close new business
  • Work with Commercial Lead to create business development strategies and campaigns aligned with Bumerang growth plans and help execute them
  • Manage sales pipeline, analyse performance and take necessary actions for sales acceleration
  • Prepare and negotiate commercial offers
  • Perform discovery calls, product demos and customer meetings, as well as the preparation of customer-specific presentations and workshops
  • Initiate and maintain productive, profitable and friendly business relationships with potential clients
  • Stay up-to-date with food tech & restaurant trends, industry developments to identify new opportunities
  • Maintain and develop knowledge of products, guidelines and regulations
  • Lookout for prospects feedback, be ready to translate it into valuable development or customization of our product products
  • Take ownership and ensure performance goals achievement, reliable revenue forecasting and ownership of sales pipeline

We are looking for

  • Proven track record of finding, approaching, pitching and contracting b2b tech or SaaS customers
  • Experience in technology and sales or business development with history of meeting assigned goals (ideally in the restaurant/food industry)
  • Comfortable with cold calling and field work
  • Strong networking and communication skills, including ability to empathise and adopt the perspective of others
  • Good in problem solving and flexible to changes
  • Fluent in English and Hungarian/German

This can be a remote or hybrid position, with occasional need to travel to our offices, client locations, and conferences.
