Senior Rust developer (HFT)

We are a proprietary trading firm, specialises in low-latency (HFT) trading on major crypto exchanges. Now we are seeking for talented Rust developer to become a part of our R&D team in Yerevan. The responsibilities will include statistical analysis of market data from a large amount of sources, finding anomalies and structure in chaos, seeking for market inefficiencies which can be used for creating algorithmic trading strategies, performing backtesting and polishing the trading signals.

The responsibilities will include:

— The development of the low-latency trading platform in Rust including connectivity to major crypto exchanges;
— Debugging and profiling modules and the platform as a whole, performing optimizations for low-latency execution;
— Creating testbeds and benchmarks for third-party libraries;
— Codebase maintenance in Git, automated testing, code-coverage and deployment.

Required skills:

— A degree in computer science from the 4 of the following universities: MSU, MIPT, HSE and SPBU

— Strong Rust programming skills (3+ years) OR C++ programming skills (3+ years) + some experience with Rust; 

— Great knowledge of algorithms and data structures, especially applied for low-latency and high-load applications. Strong skills implementing asynchronous, multithreaded and networking applications.

— Linux system administration including TCP/IP networking and command line utilities. AWS is plus.

This position involves relocation to Yerevan.
