Bachelor's Degree in Department of American Culture and Literature, English Language and Literature, English Language Teaching, Translation and Interpreting or equivalent education in a related discipline is required

Requirement is for technical writers with experience writing complex products in DITA-XML using a Feature-based approach in an agile environment.
Experience in telephony and/or enterprise software essential. Knowledge of oXygen Author preferred.
Description and responsibilities:
Creates content plans for the features without needing help.
Creates confluence pages for Features following the template and using associated tasks/stories.
Accurately determines effort to complete content plans, stories, tasks.
Attends scrum meetings periodically.
Tracks completion of content by updating plans, confluence page, and tasks/stories.
Demos content at End of Sprint Demos.
Understands and follows writing standards with very few errors.
Determines audiences for feature content and identifies their workflows with accuracy.
Writes each piece of content appropriate to the audience for which it is intended, organized in user-centric workflows, identifies solution dependencies.
Submits content regularly for editorial review, improves writing over time, discusses with editor when questions come up.
Supports other team members with reviews.
Uses publication checklists for consistency, with high degree of accuracy, and keeps records for audit. Suggests improvements to team checklists to trap reported errors.
Initiates review process for formal reviews and implements feedback.
Follows all existing processes and encourages others to do so.
Provides feedback about processes that we can simplify or that are not working well.
When asked for comment on new or changed process, reviews and provides honest opinions.
Supports rollout of new processes/procedures by implementing them and providing feedback on difficulties.
Provides informal support to junior team members in the adopting process.
