Muse Group creates the world's most popular software and communities for musicians. Today, Muse Group reaches over 400 million users worldwide through its portfolio of software, mobile apps, and online services that includes Ultimate Guitar, MuseScore, Audacity, StaffPad, and more.
Each product has its own history and audience, for example, Ultimate Guitar is a popular content platform for guitarists and singers, MuseScore is one of the largest sheet music catalogs as well as open-source software for writing original compositions and arrangements, Audacity is an open-source audio editor, StaffPad is an application for creating musical compositions using handwriting recognition.
At the moment the company has 7 products (verticals) and ecosystem directions (horizontals) - Monetization, Marketing, Content, ML, Operations, and others, that help each product and business as a whole to develop and grow. We also plan to increase the number of products in our portfolio and expand into new markets and user segments.
All this work is done by our team, which spreads all over the world. The team consists of 220 people, and we have colleagues in the US, London, Berlin, Cyprus, and other locations. We plan to grow and develop on the international markets, and at the moment we are looking for an experienced Chief HR Officer who will be responsible for the following areas in the company:
Key responsibilities:
- First of all, analyze findings, review trends, and recommend strategies to ensure better international development on the market.
- Design and implement data-driven, go-to-market strategies that will attract top talent to our company across complex and competitive global markets.
- Set goals and objectives and track team progress towards them.
- Improve our employer brand visibility across the markets to increase the talent pipeline of candidates.
- Be a part of a top management team, make important strategic decisions, take responsibility, and work directly with the founder.
Required qualifications:
- It is important for us that you focus on people. Our employees are the employees of a commercially ambitious company.
- This role will require 5+ years of experience in managing HR function, executive search of top talents and distributed teams.
- It’s essential for us that you’re always two steps ahead.
- Experienced in building effective relationships at different levels (founder, top management, middle management).
- You will have a team that will report to you, but experience in establishing operational processes will also be required (implementation of necessary systems, performance reviews, relocation, etc.).
- Ability to support the company culture and share our values.
- Fluent English.
- Willingness to relocate to Cyprus (Limassol).
