Linux administrator

This position requires relocation to Serbia, Lithuania, Turkey or Mexico The relocation assistance will be provided.

System Administrator Linux

Responsibilities:

• Configuration and support of the company's network infrastructure, servers and laboratories.
• Administration of local, remote and on-premises laboratories.
• Administration of various systems such as Subversion, GitLab, Gerrit, GitHub, OpenVPN, IPSec, BGP, OSPF, RIP, Zimbra, LibVirt/KVM, LXC/LXD, Amazon EC2. MySQL, PostgreSQL, OpenDJ (LDAP). Laboratories: Tomcat, Nginx, NFS, Ansible.
• Administration of DNS.
• Networking hardware: Cisco, D-Link, HP/3Com, Mikrotik, NetGear, Juniper, Ubiquiti.
• Organization of backups (various configurations of devices, databases, operating systems).
• Monitoring (Zabbix, Prometheus).
• Participation in the information systems implementation projects.
• Development and maintenance of documentation up to date.

Requirements:

• Thorough understanding of Linux-based systems. Administration of software raids, use of various kinds of file systems (BTRFS, ZFS, etc.), abilities to set up VPN tunnels in Linux. Administration of various Linux services (Bind, Postfix, Quagga, , Nginx etc.). Administration of LibVirt/KVM, LXC/LXD virtual machines.
• Thorough understanding of RouterOS. Network configuration and administration on Mikrotik (DHCP, Bound, NAT, VPN, dynamic and static routing (BGP, OSFP).
• Experience in OpenVPN servers administration.
• Experience in setting up geographically distributed systems; networking of geographically distributed offices of the company.
• Hands-on experience with cross-site network creation and maintenance (several locations).
• Abilities to multitask.
• Ability to understand what is already configured and working.
• Expertise with Cisco, Mikrotik, D-link equipment.
• Knowledge of scripting languages and the ability to apply them in practice.
• Hands-on experience using software configuration management (Ansible).
• English at a conversational level.
