Описание вакансии

We’re looking for an experienced Operations Engineer to help us maintain product development. In this role you will work together with two small teams of engineers to find the best ways to develop, evaluate, deploy and sustain services.

This position is a great fit for those who are passionate about cloud infrastructure, observability and automation—and want to work on a product that people love.

who are we:

Readymag is a browser-based design tool that helps create all kinds of web publications: landing pages, portfolios, magazines, websites, multimedia longreads and pitch decks.

We are a fully distributed team with a strong international user community and client-oriented service. We value a culture of questions and curiosity with a ‘measure what can be measured’ approach.

what you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in the field;
  • experience with AWS: EC2, EKS, ECR, S3/CloudFront and Lambda;
  • Kubernetes knowledge: we use k8s to deploy both our production and development environments;
  • observability: usage of Honeycomb, Grafana and Kibana to monitor our systems;
  • experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines: we use GitHub Actions and deploy multiple times a day;
  • security practices: DDOS protection, WAF, OWASP and internal access management.

would be a plus:

  • Experience building resilient and scalable systems;
  • basic knowledge of JS/TS, Go, Python or similar languages;
  • experience with the OpenTelemetry ecosystem.

what you’ll be responsible for:

  • maintaining product and internal infrastructure;
  • Reviewing and designing infrastructure for upcoming projects;
  • working with developers on internal tools and workflows;
  • implementing security practices across the company.

what you’ll get:

  • Remote work with a flexible schedule;
  • up to 20% tax reimbursement;
  • 28 days of paid annual leave;
  • access to skill development courses.

how to apply:

An interview usually takes around an hour, including technical questions and a free-form feature design/review. You don’t need to write code during the interview. Several days after the interview we’ll reach out to you with a decision.
