Finance Analyst (f/m/x)

We are currently looking for a Finance Analyst to support our accounting and finance department. You will work hand in hand with our Senior Finance Manager as well as the entire team and experience our most exciting growth phase and expansion. This position is ideal for someone who would like to be involved in all financial processes, and wants to gain deep expertise in diverse financial areas of a business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support management in accounting and financial planning
• Preparation of target/actual comparisons and ad-hoc analyses
• Support the preparation of the budget and the business plan
• Communication with banks, investors and the tax office
• Assist with monthly accounting and payroll (recording and processing receipts and invoices, checking payments) in cooperation with our external tax advisor
• Support in the current capital increase (financial due diligence, preparation of analyses, preparation of Q&A responses, support with legal and administrative tasks, etc.)
• Other admin tasks (writing SOPs, updating spreadsheets, applying for grants, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, business informatics, finance, accounting or similar or an apprenticeship with relevant work experience
• You have initial experience in finance or accounting
• Fluent written and spoken German and English skills
• Advanced knowledge of Google Spreadsheets or MS Excel is a plus
• Solid analytical skills and a high attention to detail
• You have an affinity for numbers and love to solve problems with logical thinking
• You have a proactive attitude and are not afraid to take initiative
• You have enthusiasm for a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment in the technology sector
• Knowledge of tax regulations is an advantage
