Company

  • A large international company with HQ in Florida (USA) and  its own fleet of luxury business jets, organizing private air transportation.
  • Distributed international engineering team (200 people)

Projects

  • Ecosystem of products for private aviation (services for booking business jets for premium and luxury user segments, platforms for business jet operators, products for automating the company's internal business processes)

Who we are searching for

  • Engineering Managers for small development teams (3-5 people).
  • In our view, these are people with universal expertise, combining the skills of Team and Tech Lead.

Projects tech stack

  • React, Redux/Mobx, TypeScript on the web
  • Mobile: Swift, Kotlin
  • Node.js, Python on the backend
  • PostgreSQL, MongoDB

What you will do

  • Day-to-day leading a development team (3-5 people): coordinating people, processes, ensuring project planning, decomposition and distribution of tasks
  • Monitoring the performance of team members and providing mentoring or training
  • Interaction with stakeholders (product, business)
  • Technical leadership on the project, responsibility for key technical solutions and architecture + participation in code review and deployment

Basis requirements

  • Good engineering background (stack is not important) and “fresh” technical expertise (making general technical decisions, if necessary, willingness to dive into the code, conduct code reviews, etc.)
  • Good architectural vision
  • Experience in leading development teams
  • Good level of English (C1/C2)
  • Ability to motivate position
  • Teamwork skills
