Senior DevOps Engineer

Now, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer  to join our team:

We are seeking talented engineers to automate and scale our infrastructure as we grow our customer base, develop new features and process more and more data.

As a DevOps Team member, you will  provide support for our developers, maintain and extend the high level of our SaaS infrastructure and increase the ability to reliably deliver our services to customers.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, automate, manage and maintain our Google Cloud-based production system, ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability;

- Improve Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm);

- Establish effective monitoring and alerting to ensure high reliabilityMaintain and improve CI/CD system (Gitlab CI);

- Provide actionable cost accounting for cloud resources, make recommendations for efficiencies and cost saving options;

- Provide and contribute improvements for architecture and operational processes. 

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience working with containerisation technology (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure providers (Google Cloud Platform);

- 5+ years building and maintaining high-volume production environments and services;

- Kubernetes expertise: Kubernetes architecture and operations and managing multiple Kubernetes clusters in a high-volume production environment;

- Professional experience managing complex container-based and VM-based infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP);

- Expertise implementing Infrastructure as Code ( Terraform, Helm, Kustomize);

- Implemented and managed CI/CD (e.g. GtilabCI, Jenkins);

- Experience designing, configuring and managing centralized logs, metrics, and monitoring for infrastructure and application visibility (e.g. VictoriaMetrics, Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentd, Datadog);

- Experience in management clustered setups of RabbitMQ, Redis/KeyDB, VernMQ;

- Experience in cost optimisation of GCP infrastructure;

- Experience with time series data stores and other big data (InfluxDB, VictoriaMetrics, other TSDB);

- Strong analytical skills as applied to systems management;

- Ability to identify, plan for, and remedy security issues;

- Can directly and openly collaborate with managers and developers;

- A desire to learning & mastering new technologies, distributing that knowledge to teammates;

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

- English level В2 or better.
