We are currently looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our Product and Technology team in our office in Berlin. Our Product and Technology team is autonomous and co-functional, operating in an agile devops environment with a strong customer focus. Our product engineering teams target outcomes rather than outputs, using OKRs to deliver our vision. You will be joining at a growth stage of the business and will be instrumental in improving the current delivery and quality processes, and support your team to deliver high quality and robust solutions for our customers and our business.

You should have:

• Experience guiding and mentoring others
• Strong knowledge of Java (8 or higher) and object-oriented programming
• Solid experience with JavaEE, Hibernate, Spring
• Strong knowledge of JS (TypeScript, Angular, NodeJS), HTML, CSS
• Solid experience with NoSQL data stores (inc. MongoDB and Mysql)
• Good understanding of API development and Microservice architecture
• Logical, analytic thinking, structured and target-oriented approach, very good problem solving skills
• Passion for delivering clean code, unit/integration tests and maintainable documentation
• Excellent understanding of common design/architectural patterns and the ability to produce elegant architecture designs
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps best practices
• Good communication skills in English
• BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in developing complex modular applications from technical planning to implementation

The following skills are a plus:

• Experience with or interest in AWS, ElasticSearch, Relational and NoSql DBs, messaging and queuing solutions, GraphQl
• Knowledge of common frameworks (Hibernate, Spring, Jersey, Liquibase), VCS (Git), frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, TypeScript, Angular, NodeJs, Next.js, React), Docker, CI/CD solutions
