Product designer UX/UI (Mobile App)

JOB Overview 

To fuel our rapid development we’re looking for a dynamic and talented product designer (generalist) to join the team permanently and be responsible for the UX and UI design of our leading home dental check-up mobile app. This is an opportunity to join an ambitious, venture-backed, and global start-up where you can have an immediate impact and be a key contributor to the team.

In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end user experience and visual design for the app, and ensure that all elements of the experience are optimised for exceptional usability, helpfulness, inclusivity, and visual appeal.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify user experience design requirements for our home dental check-up mobile app through user feedback and quantitative analyses
• Produce high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, user flow diagrams, storyboards, etc
• Deliver final visual designs for implementation through high-fidelity mockups, redlines, and prototypes
• Partner effectively with engineering and product management to implement and deliver your solutions on time and to spec
• Plan and conduct usability testing, user research, and competitor analysis
• Identify and resolve any bottlenecks or difficulties in critical user journeys
• Collaborate with the marketing team along with external designers to ensure the timely creation and delivery of customised assets for our growth campaigns

REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UX and visual designs, with at least 1 year of experience with mobile applications
• Proficient with industry tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe InDesign, Miro, etc
• Ability to interpret and synthesise both quantitative user data and qualitative feedback into your design thinking to produce highly usable and delightful experiences
• Comfortable working within a design system, and bonus points for having extended a design system or created one from scratch
• Ability to stay up to speed on UX trends and design strategies in the consumer mobile space
• Understanding of business metrics and the ability to translate company goals and objectives into digital experiences
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
• Bonus: experience in digital health, wellness, or healthcare
