What you will be doing in your new role:

Your daily responsibilities as a Cloud Security Engineer will include participating in various customer projects, ensuring the security of the cloud infrastructure, making sure that proper controls are in place, and also contributing to making our customers’ environments more secure.

You will also act as a trusted security advisor for some of the heavyweights of the business world and to cooperate with the Client’s Sales team in customer relations and roadmap management. To put it shortly, you’ll have to wear different hats and work on customer projects from start to finish.

What makes you a perfect candidate for this position?

You have profound knowledge of and relevant experience in cloud security.

You have experience and expertise in configuring cloud security solutions and platform-level mitigations.

You have certificates for AWS, Azure or GCP. If you have other relevant certificates, it will be a plus.

You want to keep your professional development continuous and are inspired by new challenges.

You have sound communication skills in English and (not essential, but desirable) German.

You’ve had some practical experience in security or cloud security.

If you have a profound understanding of Application Security, Offensive Security (such as red teaming or penetration testing) Identity & Access Management, and/or Security Configuration Management, it will also be a plus.

Our Client offers many opportunities to work internationally, so the candidate needs to consider the possibility of travel (interstate and Europe – will depend on current COVID-19 restrictions).
