Python Backend Engineer (ML Platform)

Your responsibilities

• Implementation of new features
• Code scaling
• Work with distributed systems
• Code optimization (e.g. data ingestion pipeline, ML model inference)
• ML Pipeline Automation
• Visualization (e.g. Plotly Dash)
• Risk assessment and compliance automation
• Continuous Integration/Delivery for Machine Learning projects.
• Improve and advance DataOps and MLOps infrastructure and operational processes.

Our expectations

Must:

• Experience in software development 5+ years
• Strong background in Python development and cloud infrastructure (experience with at least one of the cloud - AWS/GCP/Azure)

Essential: [most, but not all, of the points below]:

• Experience with developing ETL pipelines (ex. Apache Spark, DeltaLake, Presto)
• Experience with Kubeflow, MLFlow, Airflow
• Experience with data stores including Postgres, Redis, etc
• Experience with building REST API endpoints using Python frameworks
• Experience with ElasticSearch, Docker, Kubernetes is a strong advantage
• Experience with visualization libraries such as Plotly
• Experience with Python code optimization

Optional Requirements

• Experience in DevOps/MLOps as a plus
• Experience in frontend development as a plus
• Experience with ML Inference servers such as Triton, KFServing, or Seldon Core.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Cloudformation
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Pytorch, or Keras.
• General understanding of ML fundamentals
• Experience working with data scientists and/or ML engineers and building auto-scaling ML systems.
• Experience with building cybersecurity systems.

Knowledge of languages:

English - С1, C2
