Picnic QA / Manual Tester

Picnic is a rapidly growing, venture backed startup based in Silicon Valley with over a million users within 2 months (faster than early snapchat, youtube, or music.ly [tiktok]), have better usage than leading social networks, and present an opportunity to positively impact socialization for a generation and beyond, shaping the internet and giving a taste of community to gen z.  

We are looking for a remote QA/Manual Tester professional to help us maintain our app. We have a system composed of a mobile application that runs both on Android and iOS, and a backend website linked with several third-party services. We're looking to test all the features while we're rolling out the application.

Daily and Weekly Responsibilities

- Plan and execute manual tests on the whole system (app + backend + third-party services) on both  

Android and iOS

Objectives of this Role

- Document testing activities

- Remain available for frequent communication on our Discord channel

Skills and Qualifications

- Jira/Agile/Scrum knowledge

- Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools

- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Required Qualifications

- Excellent communication skills in English

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it

Salary:  

- 20k-50k/yearly
