Senior Android Developer

Flow Health is a network of clinical laboratories providing large scale COVID-19 testing (and a full spectrum of other clinical tests!). Our in-house laboratory information and management system serves the needs of users ranging from our own employees in labs, in the field, in billing and customer success to our clients, clinical, corporate and general public.

We offer a chance for a Senior Android developer to build complex solutions using cutting edge technologies and mature software engineering practices in the atmosphere of creativity and collaboration.

We offer a chance to work with an international team spread across three continents: North America (Los Angeles, CA and Atlanta, Georgia), Asia (Manila, Philippines) and Europe. Our development team is mostly located in Russia and CIS.

As a Senior Android developer you will be responsible for:

• Developing applications for Android in the team of experienced developers
• Making technical decisions and planning the development process
• Participating in code review

We would love to work with you if you are:

• An expert in Android development (4+ years)
• Closely familiar with Kotlin/Java and standard libraries, highload systems
• Experienced or interested to work with Android MVVM Design Pattern, Kotlin Flow, Coroutines, Koin, Jetpack Navigation
• Familiar with databases and client-server architecture (REST API), teamwork and version control systems (Git)
• Experienced in publishing apps (at least 1 original app)
• Confident in taking ownership of engineering solutions you architect and build
• Able to tutor and train less experienced colleagues
