Technical Lead / CTO

General information:

• Position: Technical Lead with a further promotion to CTO;
• Industry: Fintech in digital assets (crypto with an element of blockchain technology);
• Team: Fast growing team;
• Start date: ASAP.

• Package will be discussed with a candidate. The package will include: fixed pay + shares;
• Remote from Moscow or SpB. Relocation to London will be discussed later. However, happy to talk to candidates already located in London;

Responsibilities:

• Set-up and lead technical block of the company;
• Develop and execute a technical strategy of the whole company. Further implementation of the overall technical vision;
• Define the Technology Stack and its further development;
• Build and lead the technology team, including defining and tracking KPIs;
• Build and lead the company's technical infrastructure;
• Select and manage outsourced teams when needed;
• Set-up and monitor KPIs and IT budgets;
• Discover new technologies that could bring a technology edge;
• Represent the company in meetings with partners, shareholders, potential investors, etc.
• Establish governance over technology assets and investments to manage the levels of risk.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building software products;
• 3+ years of experience managing technical teams;
• CTO or TechLead experience in FinTechs or banks;
• Familiar with digital assets and / or banking products (such as investments, deposits, loans, etc);
• Ideally, have a good understanding of blockchain technologies;
• Experience in building teams from scratch and leading them;
• Ideally, experienced in setting up and / or building a technical strategy of the whole company; 
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field;
• Strong knowledge of English.
