QA Automation Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for our first QA Engineer who is ready to deliver high-quality products starting with our new web application. Our ideal candidate is passionate about establishing quality assurance standards from the ground up and is comfortable working in a small development team. They are skilled in both manual and automation testing and want to constantly polish their skills. They are also ready to hire and manage the QA team in the upcoming future.

We are open to consider part-time QA engineers who are ready to shift to full-time in the upcoming months.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Develop and maintain test plans for our product offerings
• Manually test release candidates to ensure all releases are production-ready and free of bugs, copy errors, or other quirks that impact the user experience
• Write unit and integration tests for our backend and frontend applications, using various testing frameworks (Cypress, Enzyme or Testing Library, etc.)
• Assist Product and Engineering teams with release and change management

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

• 3+ years quality assurance engineering experience
• Experience in working with automation tools such as Cypress, etc.
• Experience in working with NodeJS and ReactJS applications
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
