System Analyst

Our client is Finstar Financial group is an international private equity and investment advisory firm with around USD$2 billion of assets under management (AUM). The company has a diversified investment footprint in more than 30 countries.

Main goals:

• Definition and translation of business needs into well-defined requirements / statements for development (processing of requests for changes, analysis and description of the impact on existing functionality);
• Development of requirements documentation including user stories / use cases, process flows, data flows and report layouts .;
• Maintaining a common vision of the product among internal customers and the development team;
• Constant analysis of current projects of the company in order to identify problem areas and proposals for their improvement;
• Collaborate with the development team to provide subject matter expertise and help troubleshoot and resolve issues;
• Preparation of assignments for developers, writing technical documentation;
• Business process modeling (BPMN, UML);
• Participation in internal testing events;
• Demonstration of new functionality.

We expect from the candidate:

• Excellent analytical skills: ability to evaluate information collected from multiple sources, decompose high-level information into details, abstract from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements;
• Understanding of the integration of external systems;
• Basics of SQL, JSON, XML;
• Basics of BPMN, UML;
• Ability to work with several projects at the same time;
• Hands-on experience in writing user stories, keeping requirements documentation and user stories up to date;
• Knowledge of the basics of programming, testing, algorithms, economics;
• English proficiency level Upper Intermediate or higher;
• Resistance to stress and initiative;

Will be a plus:

• Experience in the financial sector;
• Experience in CRM (BPM Online);
• Basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
