We are the System Team, developing infrastructure as code and automating the development lifecycle for our projects using AWS, kubernetes, pulumi, gitlab, helm, golang in a Kanban working mode.
Gigabit Project started in ‘2018 and branches out to new daughter projects since ‘2020, with in total over 1000 participants.
The fiber rollout project family (Gigabit, FiberCoop) supports telecommunication companies and network operators with a broad spectrum of functions: from presales campaign management, fiberoptic network planning & inventarization, order processing, contact with landlords, coordinating work for construction companies, over supporting field technicians with mobile applications to activating optical modems for customers and many more. The projects apply micro-service architecture, cloud-native technologies, domain-driven-design and DevOps philosophy.
Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure engineering: Scaling, Availability, Recovery, Resilience, Security;
- Software development Lifecycle automation & support: ci/cd pipelines, k8s operators;
- Develop and maintain infrastructure services as apigw, proxies, idp’s and other;
- Resolve bugs & Incidents, including occasional on-call duties.
Requirements:
- Have experience with AWS, kubernetes, pulumi, gitlab, helm, golang;
- Can write or are ready to learn Golang/Python;
- Can participate in technical discussions in English.
It would also be nice if you have:
- Programming skills;
- Test automation expertise;
- Database administration experience.
