Business intelligence & Analytics manager

     Your role:

• Can act as an experienced BI Consultant on data warehousing/business intelligence projects
• Takes up roles as Developer, Data Modeler, ETL specialist, project manager
• Works closely with analysts, developers 
• Communicates and collaborate with customer representatives and stakeholders
• Works towards deadlines with high quality
• Presents ideas for organisational, system and design improvements                                                                                       Key Responsibilities:
• Support our business to implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of projects or programs, and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners.
• Stay current with changes in technology and the Business Intelligence & Analytics landscape.
• Identify key data sources & collect all data source related information in order to execute the agreed solutions (consult stakeholders when required and define, challenge & prioritize).
• Design advanced conceptual, logical and physical data organizations, models, repositories, dashboards, reports within a complete functional and technical architecture.
• Initial draft model of data and queries and other analytics' interfaces.
• Develop and maintain data integration processes - extract, transform and load.
• Collect all required information in order to manage databases in support of requests (consult stakeholders when required).
• Analyse collected information - translation of hand-picked KPIs into actionable metrics.
• Implement security in databases and reporting environments.
• Data warehouse design and set-up.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and training of users, including sharing best practices.
• Experience in leading a team or the ambition to become one and develop yourself as a people manager.

 As a business intelligence and analytics manager, you get the opportunity to be involved in every step of a project: from defining requirements, to the architecture, the implementation of tools, modeling, extraction, transformation & loading of data, to the implementation of the reporting/analysis. The technology mainly used is Microsoft BI & SQL Server suite (PowerBI, Reporting Services, Azure Data Factory, …).

• Knowledge of data governance, data security.
• As an entrepreneurial personality, you are result and customer focused and you thrive in a dynamic (international) environment with lots of personal responsibilities and limited formalities.
• You are a team player, flexible, creative, and eager to learn. First experience in people management is a plus.
• You have excellent problem solving and analytical skills and good communication and writing skills in English and in Russian.
• Strong skills in statistics and reporting. In support of your theoretical knowledge you are able to use R, Python or equivalent statistical tools.
• Experience with BI tools and concepts.
• Good knowledge of database technology.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and AI is a plus.
• Experience with data warehouse implementations and knowledge of relational and dimensional data modelling.
