We are seeking a React and Node.js Fullstack Developer who has a passion for software development. An artist and magician, basically.

What will you do?

• Working as part of a small team, which will include other React developers, a project manager, QA professional, and a designer.

• Architecting, building and maintaining excellent React and Node.js applications with clean code using Material UI framework.

• Completing one-week sprints in Jira, and participating in sprint retrospectives and daily syncs.

• Assisting with building estimates.

• Implementing pixel perfect UI's from Figma that match designs.

• Implementing clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent user experience.

• Integrating third-party API's.

• Writing unit and integration tests.

• Developing new rest-full services for user-facing features using Node.js.

• Developing new user-facing features using React.

• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.

• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code.

• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.

• Ensures all code has been unit tested prior to QA, including interfaces with other systems.

• Committed to development best practices that have been established by the organization.

• Writes documentation supporting the implementation of the solution.

• Reviews business processes to understand the capability gaps and opportunities.

What are we looking for?

• Person with a high level of energy and enthusiasm (which is the most important)

• Strong proficiency with JavaScript (from DOM manipulation to React Hooks and Redux)

• Strong practical knowledge of Node.js 

• Strong understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.

• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as OAuth, JSON Web Token

• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Webpack, NPM, etc.

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.

• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git (pull requests, multi-environment)

• Strong understanding of React and its core principles.

• Experience with state management system Redux.

• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript.

• Having the ability to identify with the goals of the business and dedicate yourself to delivering on the commitments you and your team make to them.

• Having an understanding of React and Node.js best practices and a commitment to following them.

• Having the ability to work through new and difficult React and Node.js issues to contribute to libraries as needed.

• Having attention to detail (ability to effectively communicate via written and spoken English).
