Senior PHP (Magento) Developer

Murano Software is engaged in software development under the order (outsourcing) and development of own product on the .NET platform which is successfully distributed in the territory of the USA. Our team consists of specialists working in 4 development centers (St. Petersburg, Kharkiv, Voronezh, Tashkent) and the main office of the company in Los Angeles.

This vacancy is opened on our outsourcing project.

Responsibilities:

• Design, estimate, and code new features.
• Architect new applications, and expand existing ones.
• Collaborate on enterprise architecture with other teams at Internet Brands.
• Define, document, and enforce engineering standards.
• Perform code reviews of your team member’s work.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Participate in software design discussions.
• Participate in sprint planning and other project management meetings.
• Ensure all code that goes to production is of top quality.
• Ensure existing applications are scaled to meet expected demand.
• Identify and fix gaps in system reliability, such as production monitoring.
• Continuously improve the software infrastructure, such as the deployment process.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of working experience with Magento 1.X and 2.X
• 4+ years with object-oriented programming in PHP, and front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Complex SQL queries and database schema design.
• Experience with modern server components (Memcache, Redis, ActiveMQ, Solr).
• MVC frameworks (Laravel, Yii).
• JIRA framework familiarity or some experience with Trello or Basecamp.
• Scrum or other Agile methodologies.
• Collaboration with engineering teams in multiple locations.
